Terms and Conditions for the SSC Signature Resize browser-based image tool


Welcome to SSC Signature Resize. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when you access or use this website, its browser-based signature resizing tool, informational content and related features.

In these Terms, “Website,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to SSC Signature Resize. “User,” “you” and “your” refer to any person who visits or uses the Website.

SSC Signature Resize provides an independent browser-based image utility intended to help users crop, proportionally resize, convert, compress, preview and download signature images for online forms.

2. Local Browser-Based Image Processing

The signature resizing workflow is designed to operate locally inside the user’s browser.

When you select an image, supported browser technologies may decode, orient, display, crop, resize, convert, compress and prepare the resulting image for download on your device.

The signature image selected through the tool is not uploaded to, transmitted to or stored on our website server as part of this image-processing workflow.

Because the Website does not receive the locally processed image, we cannot view, retrieve, recover, share or delete that image from a website server.

The original image and processed preview may remain temporarily in browser memory while the page is open. You are responsible for managing the original and downloaded files stored on your own device.

This local-processing statement applies to the image-processing tool. Normal website services, including Blogger, analytics, consent-management or advertising services, may process ordinary website and device information as explained in our Privacy Policy.

3. No Account, Payment or Official Submission Service

The signature resizing tool is provided without requiring a user account or payment through the Website.

The Website does not:

  • Complete an application form for you;
  • Submit an application to an external portal;
  • Access your account on a government or recruitment website;
  • Receive application fees;
  • Verify your identity or eligibility;

4. Independent-Service Disclaimer

SSC Signature Resize is an independent image-processing website.

It is not affiliated with, operated by, sponsored by, approved by or endorsed by the Staff Selection Commission, any recruitment authority or any government department or organization.

The use of “SSC” in the Website name describes the intended utility of the image tool and does not represent an official relationship with the Staff Selection Commission.

Official notifications, eligibility conditions, application instructions, image requirements, submission procedures and results must be obtained from the relevant official authority or application portal.

5. User Responsibility for Application Requirements

Image requirements can differ between examinations, recruitments, application forms and external portals. They may also be changed by those portals without our control.

Before downloading or submitting an image, you are responsible for verifying:

  • The required file format;
  • The permitted minimum and maximum file size;
  • The required width and height;
  • The required aspect ratio;
  • Whether the complete signature is visible;
  • Whether sufficient space remains around the handwriting;
  • Whether the signature is clear and readable; and

Default settings provided by the Website are general tool settings. They must not be treated as a permanent or universal requirement for every application form.

When an application portal displays different requirements, you should use the Website’s available custom settings and follow the instructions shown by that portal.

6. No Acceptance Guarantee

We do not guarantee that a downloaded image will be accepted by the Staff Selection Commission, another government department, a recruitment organization, an educational institution or any other external portal.

An image may be rejected for reasons outside our control, including:

  • Different file-size or dimension requirements;
  • An unclear or incomplete original image;
  • Signature strokes being outside the selected crop;
  • Rules applied by the external portal;
  • Changes to application instructions;
  • Browser or device limitations;
  • Further editing after the image is downloaded; or
  • Technical problems on the external portal.

You must review the processed preview and output information before downloading and submitting an image.

7. Original Image and Processing Limitations

The Website is designed to process the pixels contained in the image selected by the user.

The tool does not intentionally whiten the image background, remove natural paper texture, recolour signature ink, redraw handwriting or apply artificial beauty, sharpening, smoothing or blur effects.

However, reducing a large image to smaller dimensions and a lower file size necessarily reduces the amount of image data. Some loss of fine detail may therefore occur during resizing or JPG compression.

The quality of the result depends substantially on the original image. A blurred, dark, overexposed, incomplete or heavily compressed original may produce an unclear result.

You should retain your original image so that another version can be created when a different application requires different settings.

8. Your Rights to the Selected Image

You may use the tool only with images that you own or are legally authorized to process.

You must not use the Website to process:

  • Another person’s signature without lawful permission;
  • Forged, fraudulent or misleading signatures;
  • Images intended for identity theft or impersonation;
  • Copyrighted material that you are not permitted to use;
  • Unlawful, abusive or harmful material; or

You retain any lawful rights you have in the original image and downloaded result. We do not claim ownership of a signature image processed locally by the tool.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Website only for lawful and legitimate purposes.

You must not:

  • Use the Website to commit fraud, forgery, impersonation or identity theft;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, hosting platform or related systems;
