However, those values should not be treated as permanent requirements for every SSC examination.

Why 6 cm × 2 cm Can Have Different Pixel Dimensions

Centimetres and pixels do not describe exactly the same property. Centimetres describe a physical measurement, while pixels describe digital image dimensions. The conversion depends on the resolution assumption.

For example, a 6 cm × 2 cm image represented at 300 DPI is approximately 709 × 236 pixels. That does not mean every image described as 6 cm × 2 cm must universally be 709 × 236 pixels.

This is why copying a random pixel dimension from a search result can be risky. When the notification gives a specific pixel dimension, follow that pixel dimension. When it gives a centimetre measurement and additional resolution instructions, follow those together.

SSC Signature 10 to 20 KB: File Size Is Only One Check

Some SSC instructions specify a JPG/JPEG signature file-size range such as 10 KB to 20 KB. But a signature should not be judged only by the number of kilobytes.

Imagine two files that are both 15 KB:
